Lodisna Team Torrentó will make its debut at Nevers Magny-Cours with Marcos Ludeña replacing the injured Álvaro Fuertes
The Lodisna Team Torrentó is optimistic about the third round of the European Stock Championship, to be held on 5 and 6 July at the French circuit of Nevers Magny-Cours. The Navarrese team arrives reinforced after a good performance in the previous round held in Jerez, where both Álvaro Fuertes and Sviat Pylypenko achieved positive results: especially the Valencian driver, who got a creditable sixth position.
However, the team will have an important novelty in its line-up, as Álvaro Fuertes will not be able to participate in this round due to a new injury suffered a couple of weeks ago during a training session. In his place, Marcos Ludeña, another young rider from Valencia will compete with the Lodisna Team Torrentó in the French track.
At only 17 years old, Ludeña is one of the great revelations of the season in the Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK), where he is currently second in the Supersport Next Generation category. In addition, he arrives at Nevers Magny-Cours in a great moment of form, after achieving a victory last weekend at MotorLand Aragón.
With these good feelings and the incorporation of more young talent, the Lodisna Team Torrentó faces the challenge of Nevers Magny-Cours with the aim of continuing to evolve and remain among the best riders in the category. The mythical French track, technical and demanding, will be a new test for the whole team, as it will be the first time they compete there.
The activity on track will start on Thursday and Friday with the free practice sessions, will continue on Saturday with the qualifying sessions, and will culminate on Sunday with the race, where the team will try to take another step forward in its progression in the championship.
FERRAN TORRENTÓ
Team Manager
“We’re really looking forward to arriving in France. Although the start of the season has been marked by injuries, the work we have been doing is already paying off. Unfortunately, Álvaro won’t be able to be with us, but we wish him a quick and full recovery and hope he will be back for the MotorLand Aragón round.
In Nevers Magny-Cours we will count on Marcos and we are happy to give a new opportunity to another talented young rider. Of course, we thank the Compos Racing Team for their collaboration so that he can temporarily race with us as a substitute for Álvaro. We will work to stay in the fight for the front positions and to keep on adding good results”.
