Lodisna Team Torrentó aims to repeat a great result at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit

The FIM JuniorGP Championship enters its final stretch this weekend with the sixth and penultimate round of the season, taking place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Lodisna Team Torrentó arrives highly motivated after the excellent third-place finish achieved by Álvaro Fuertes in Misano, which marked the first podium for both the rider and the team in the championship.

The Valencian rider faces the Montmeló round on a strong upward trajectory, following a fifth place in Jerez, a fourth in MotorLand Aragón, and a third in Italy. With these results, Fuertes has established himself as one of the standout riders in the Stock category and currently holds sixth place in the overall standings. The goal for this weekend is to maintain that progression and fight once again for the top positions.

Meanwhile, Sviat Pylypenko also approaches the event with confidence. In Misano, he staged an impressive comeback from last place to finish 18th, once again demonstrating his hard work and continuous improvement. The Ukrainian rider will aim to take another step forward and further consolidate his pace on a track he already knows well.

The Lodisna Team Torrentó has been working intensively over the past few weeks to arrive in Montmeló fully prepared. The setup of the team’s Yamaha R6 machines will begin on Thursday and Friday with free practice sessions. On Saturday, qualifying sessions will take place, and the race is scheduled for Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

FERRAN TORRENTÓ
Team Manager

“We arrive in Barcelona highly motivated, but also very aware that we must keep working. The result in Misano was very special for all of us and a reward for the dedication of the entire team since the start of the season. Now we want to continue in that direction and confirm that we are among the most competitive teams.”

“Álvaro is in a great moment — he’s coming off three very solid races in a row and approaches Montmeló with a lot of confidence. It’s a circuit he particularly enjoys, it suits his riding style, and we’re convinced he can once again fight for the podium.”

“Sviat is also arriving with great enthusiasm. In Misano, he showed impressive ability to fight his way back through the field. The goal is for him to keep growing, improving in every session, and getting closer to the points.”

“We’re going all in, with the ambition of achieving more positive results and finishing the season in the best possible way. Thanks to Lodisna and all our sponsors for supporting us in this project.”
