Álvaro Fuertes makes a great comeback at MotorLand, narrowly missing out on the podium

The Valencian rider finished fourth after even leading the race, while Sviat Pylypenko climbed six positions to finish in 17th place.

Lodisna Team Torrentó enjoyed a successful weekend at MotorLand Aragón, which hosted the fourth round of the FIM JuniorGP. In a closely contested race, Álvaro Fuertes put in a commendable performance, just missing out on the podium after finishing in fourth place.

The Valencian rider, returning to competition following his injury, started from fifth position on the grid and got off to a flying start. He remained in the leading group throughout the race, even taking the lead at one point. He finally crossed the finish line in fourth position, achieving his best result of the season and confirming his consistent performance throughout the weekend. This result is all the more impressive given that he has not yet fully recovered from the injury that prevented him from competing at Magny-Cours.

Ukrainian Sviat Pylypenko also ended the weekend on a high note. Starting from 23rd position, he managed to climb to 17th place, demonstrating further progress on the Alcañiz track.

The team leaves Aragon feeling very positive and with renewed confidence for the second half of the season. The next race will take place at the Misano Circuit in Italy on 20 and 21 September, where the Lodisna Team Torrentó will compete for the first time.

FERRAN TORRENTÓ
Team Manager

“It has been a very positive weekend. Álvaro has returned after his injury, and we are once again competing for the top spots. We know this circuit very well and always feel at home here. We are especially grateful for the support of all our fans, and in particular for the visit we received from LODISNA, our main sponsor.

Together with Álvaro, we have been competing for a place on the podium. Although he is still lacking some pace due to his inability to train properly because of his injury, he has demonstrated that he is a valuable asset to the team. I am sure that we will be ready to fight for victory in the next race in Misano in September.

Sviat continues to make progress, too. Once again, he improved over the weekend and finished close to the points positions in the race. We are satisfied with his progress.”
